Using the address entry box, you can manually type in and search for addresses. Alternatively you search for addresses contained in your own personalised address databases, in POI layers or in Microsoft® Outlook.

You have the option of calculating up to 3 alternative routes that can each result in different costs and a different route course. You can then decide whether you should take the relatively short country road or the longer but faster motorway to reach your destination.

map&guide base calculates toll costs for goods transport. In Germany and Austria, toll costs are calculated on the values set by TollColect, ASFINAG and other toll operators.

Using the vehicle manager, you can create your own vehicle profiles and configure the optimisation parameters and average speed settings. In addition you also have the possibility of exporting the route to your navigation system (a wide range of popular navigation devices is supported).

The customer information window always provides you with a clear overview of the modules you have subscribed to and the available functions.

The easy-to-use print functions allow you print out your routes including maximaps, a cost overview and detailed driving instructions.
